We have had great feedback so far from our major hazards seminars in Bristol and Basildon this week:
We had lots of lively discussions; our delegates said they learnt a lot and enjoyed the first day of our Human Factors/Major Hazards Seminar.
Companies were very interested in how the new COMAH regulations might be shaping up based on the new Seveso III directive.
The behavioural safety and ‘just culture’ session proved popular and interactive.
Basildon
A great day in Basildon for our Major Hazards and Human Factors seminar. Competency management and assessment was the hot topic of the day.
There was lots of good discussions too on COMAH and the effects of managing change.
Warrington
Enjoyable seminar on managing major hazards at Warrington, where we explored emerging legal issues and considerations for improving risk control.
Many delegates had a number of hazardous processes at their sites and were able to contribute from their experience to some stimulating debate on various topics.
We looked at the implications of the CLP Regulations, the broader issues associated with competence, human factors/behavioural safety and management of change. Although these topics are particularly relevant for COMAH sites, the principles apply to all H&S management situations.
